Guru Smt. Saraswathi Radhakrishnan is the founder and artistic director of Nartana Center for Performing Arts, founded in 2006. She has been teaching Bharatanatyam in the Kalakshetra form, Mohiniattam, and Kuchupudi Natyam in the DFW Metroplex for over 18 years.
Saraswathi Aunty (as her students affectionately call her) started her training at the age of 5 in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi Natyam under the Late Natya Chakravarthy Shri Chavali SriKrishna, a direct disciple of Kalakshetra's founder, Smt. Rukmini Deviamma. Her love for classical and folk dances led her to Mohiniattam, and pursued training under Kalamandalam Smt. Geetha Radhakrisha Menon. She has been given the titles of Natya Shree and Nruthya Kala Vani by her esteemed gurus. Her notable choreographies for Bharatanatyam include Mahishaasura-mardhini and Dashaa-vataaram. She is an active member of the DFW Samskrita Bharati community as a Samskritam teacher. Smt. Saraswathi has also majored in education, and holds a masters degree in Organizational Development from ACU.
Nartana Center for Performing Arts was founded by Smt. Saraswathi Radhakrishnan in 2006.
